Among all the problems in the world, women's rights still stand out. This is a very important topic around the world and makes the female race feel equal and necessary. Women's rights have been important since the 1800s and are still a debated topic today. Even if they think that women don't have the potential to do anything, all women should be equal and have the same rights as men because women should have a say in what happens in this world and women can basically do anything that makes a man. To begin with, all women deserve to be equal and share the same rights with men. In the past, women had to realize that they worked so hard but received no credit for it. "Many Northern women have cared for the sick and wounded, but "so far there has been no united public expression by Northern women regarding the politics of war... We have as yet no means of judging how and where the majority of Northern women stands."" (2 McCurry). This quote says that women are starting to realize that they are not being treated equally, so they are ready to fight back. The Women's National Loyal League played an important role in the women's rights movement. Overall, women's rights have played an important role in the lives of women across the nation. Women and men have realized that women can do almost anything a man can do. Some of these things are simple everyday tasks like taking out the trash, making dinner, or cutting the grass. One woman who made a difference is Susan B. Anthony. Susan had formed an organization called the Woman's Nation Loyal League. “Most middle- and upper-class men considered their daughters' education an unnecessary expense. Most working class fathers wanted... middle of paper... equal rights with men for two main reasons. First, women can basically do anything a man can do. But most importantly, women should have a say in what happens in this world. Women give life to this world, so let them be equal. Works Cited Abend, Lisa. "Boys won't be boys."
