Topic > Solar Energy: The Future of Energy - 1447

I'm sure everyone has heard of the terms greenhouse gases, fossil fuels and global warming. Have you ever wondered what would happen if nothing was done to solve the environmental problems plaguing the world today? What if I told you that we can simply use the sun's energy to power our entire planet without the use of harmful energy sources, which affect our atmosphere? The energy coming from the sun is what we call solar energy. Solar energy is the energy that comes from the sun in the form of light and heat and is subsequently converted into electrical energy through solar panels (Nelson, 2008). This kind of power is completely free, right? Why should we invest so much in other energy sources, when there is completely free and healthy energy? It is clear that solar energy is a healthy energy source, which will help stop global warming altogether, but it is economically efficient to switch everything to solar energy. Solar energy has the potential to become the world's future source of electricity because it is renewable, environmentally friendly, and extremely efficient when strategically placed. Solar energy is clean energy that does not affect our environment. Solar energy uses the sun's energy to produce electricity, unlike other energy sources, which rely on the continuous extraction of raw materials. Consequently, producing solar energy from the sun's heat does not lead to the annihilation of the ecosystem, compared to the extraction of fossil fuels (Bode, 2005). Therefore, with the use of solar energy, you will help keep the environment clean, thus helping to combat the problem of global warming, which poses a threat to the global ecosystem around the world. The use of solar energy will help save the world's vegetation and help prevent... half the paper... which is readily available to us for free. Sunlight and heat will always be available to us because they are an inextinguishable resource and so let's use it. With all these points made, there is no doubt that solar energy is capable of becoming the world's future energy source. Works CitedVenables, M. (2008), “Bring me sunshine [Solar Energy]”.
