It will expose the client to other people struggling with the same problem and allow for the adaptation of other techniques that may help. Group therapy can also give the client the confidence needed by sharing their story and reassuring them that they are not alone. An existing support system can promote program continuation. A residential program can help, but because the client still expresses a desire to interact within their work and is successful in doing so, an intensive outpatient program may be more beneficial. This will allow the client to continue living their daily life while having the support system they need to stay on track. This program will also provide the client with the necessary tools that can prevent future relapses or errors if and when they arise. The client is demonstrating that they need something to focus on and progress made,
