Athletic Benefits of SupplementsThe development of medications and supplements used by mankind has evolved from what it once was in its early stages of existence. As with all man-made things, it is said that anything man-made can be improved (Moore, p35). With this concept almost anything in nature can be applied. In this case, the development of anabolic supplements and the human body. In recent years, the use of supplements in sporting events has helped athletes achieve new goals that could not have been achieved with training alone. With the human body, there is only so much room for improvement until a limit is reached in a person's developmental progress. With these limitations in the development of the human body, some frustrations may arise from not seeing benefits in physical training. Even for those individuals who are sick and afflicted with an illness, the use of supplements can help them return to health. The same reasoning can be applied to a bodybuilder who has reached his peak and is no longer able to reach new heights. But some questions arise when it comes to using supplements: “Do they (supplements) really work?”, “Are supplements dangerous for your health?”, “Are supplements just a waste of money and provide no benefit ". ?". All these questions are what developers chemists, doctors and training consultants take into consideration before actually creating a new product or recommending someone to use the supplements. The question I would like to answer for myself is: " Are supplements actually helpful in making new gains and do they actually produce results?" The answer... middle of the paper... would you talk to someone who knows and a doctor to see if any of them could prove lethal for you. If not, those interested in quick results, see which products work best for you.Works CitedMero, A.
