As an employee of one of the largest private universities in the world, it is extremely important for us to be professional at all times. The University of Phoenix (UOPX) is one of the largest private universities in the world with over 400,000 students currently attending. UOPX strives for excellence in maintaining our commitment to educating our community. UOPX is a unique organization because; we provide opportunities for people who are experts in organizational politics, conflict management and communication flows. It was in this historical context, in 1976, that Cambridge-trained economist and professor Dr. John Sperling founded the University of Phoenix.
