Instead of the cap I used parafilm and made a small hole in the center. I put a string through the hole and curled it through the ground. I planted three seeds from the Fabaceae bean family in the soil. I also put water in the bottom half of the bottle on the ground so it can be moist. I then used parafilm to tape the bottom and top parts together to bring it to my dorm room. There I placed it near the window. As the days went by I filled the water tank with water whenever there was a need. I also put some water on the soil so it would stay moist.
