From my point of view, franchising makes less profit and it's not the CEO's fault, because people choose to eat healthier and organic foods. Nowadays, people use the Internet on a daily basis and it covers all the news about what fast food industries look like and how they perform in business. When they look at how they treat animals and raise them, people rethink whether or not to eat at fast food restaurants. There is news about the ingredients of the food, it surprises me that the food can withstand any weather and never gets sick with buds. I eat fast food because it's the fastest way to fill my stomach in a short time. Later, I start exercising, I stop eating those foods because they don't provide me with the right proteins and can harm my body. I think this is what most people think and continue to do the same thing. This is how fast food industries cannot resist for long because people are looking for good and healthy foods.
