In his article, "Popular Media Glamorizes Teen Pregnancy," Houseman talks about how tabloids and the media make teen pregnancy seem like the most glorious thing that could happen to a teenager. Houseman says, “Shortly thereafter, Time magazine coined the phrase “The Juno Effect” when dozens of teenage girls started talking about how much fun it would be to have a baby of their own. Then we heard that a group of seventeen girls from Massachusetts formed a pack to get pregnant together. Some girls were even disappointed when they found out they didn't get pregnant”
