My research will focus on fascism. My question: Explain and analyze the techniques used by the “Party” to control the citizens of Airstrip One. Compare with equivalent real-world examples, present or historical. I will focus on 4 different areas of totalitarian techniques used in the story that Orwell also conceptualizes and parallels in writing 1984: New Generation; Authority and violence; Propaganda; and Cutting sources and rewriting history.1. New GenerationEducating and brainwashing the new generation is an important technique used to control society. It is easier to control the brain of a child than an adult because he has no idea what is going on in the world. They believe whatever you make them believe. Furthermore, because they represent the next generation, they are seen as the future success, so it is crucial that the authorities put the idea of ​​fascism in their heads.
