Ross says: “I am so stupid, if I were to stay longer, it would be my disgrace and your inconvenience. I take my leave at once” (Shakespeare 4.2). This quote shows that Ross does not have an evil mind because he lets Lady Macduff and her son die. However, this shows Macbeth's cruelty by sending the soldier to kill Macduff's family. Macbeth says, “I will take Macduff's castle, I will take Fife, I will give him the edge of the sword / His wife, his children, all the unfortunate souls” (Shakespeare 4.1). The meaning of this quote shows Macbeth's cruelty as he thinks about his plan on how to kill the Macduffs. Since Macduff's family poses no threat to him, his mind led him to make the situation worse. Macbeth says, “Time, you anticipate my terrible deeds: / The fickle purpose is never neglected / Unless action attends it” (Shakespeare 4.1.). This quote shows that Macbeth is talking to himself about the time so that he can come up with his plan immediately. He promises that from this moment on if he dreams the plan, he will act on it and make it happen for a purpose. To conclude with paragraph 3, Macbeth has no innocence towards people who pose no threat to him. So Macbeth's morality finds its way to justice that needs to be resolved.
