In today's world of video games, there are beautiful visuals, surround sound effects, and realistic graphics that encourage players to keep playing. It means that when they play an action or war game, there will be gunshots, blood splatter, beheading scenes, or fighting movements. Unfortunately, some people believe that these games cause negative effects on players. They say that violent video games make players become murderers or terrorists. A research study on violence in video games concluded: "There is no evidence demonstrating the relationship between violence in video games and violence in children over the age of 8." (Stuart, 2014) Furthermore, millions of people play violent video games and never commit crimes. In reality, video games were born a long time ago, more than 20 years before violent video games became a mainstream industry worldwide. Vidoe games offer players numerous benefits. Over one hundred reasons that make video games violent are useful for people who really love playing action video games. Video games create benefits for players both directly and indirectly. First of all, the clear advantage of video games is that video games introduce children to computers and Internet technology because these days most games are about the Internet. (Farrales) So video games avoid drugs and have nothing to do with gangsters. Because when children or teenagers start playing indoors instead of being on the streets and join gangsters or use drugs. Additionally, players are training to acquire cooperative skills between quickly moving their brains to move their hands and having sharp eyes to catch up.
