Yoga is a simple process of reversing the normal outward flow of energy and consciousness so that the mind becomes a dynamic center of direct perception no longer dependent on fallible senses but actually capable of experiencing the Truth (Self-Realization Fellowship). Yoga also helps a person's physical well-being. So what are the effects of yoga in fitness? Well, there are several ways in which yoga affects the components of people's physical fitness; there are also several benefits and also many ways to keep a person healthy and prosperous. Yoga has many effects on physical fitness. The first way it impacts people's physical fitness components is fitness for effective living. Fitness for effective living has many key components and they are intellectual, emotional and physical. The physical part is having the strength to carry out daily activities. The emotional part is that fitness can help a person be less stressed and feel less tense. Last but not least is the intellectual part, and fitness can help clear the mind and help people think more effectively. Additionally, fitness can help a person enjoy life and their experiences. But all in all yogic exercise will increase a person's flexibility, strength and agility (Wankhede). Aside from the fitness components, there are also many benefits for people who do yoga. The first way it benefits people is that yoga encourages health and fitness. Yoga is not just physical exercise, but above all adopting a healthy lifestyle.
