Olive Garden always has a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy dinner with your family. The waitresses and waiters are always respectful and attentive to your needs as a customer. On my many occasions at Olive Garden the service I get is always exceptional. I have a small child and my servers have always been very patient. The decorations of the restaurant are relaxing and very welcoming and it has a very homely feel. Maggiano's is comparable in style but lacks great service. Maggiano reviews are very low on the customer service spectrum. Complaints range from not getting the correct orders to not seeing their servers at all. Opposing opinions claim that Maggiano's is the more prestigious restaurant because it has a more formal and rich atmosphere. You can't deny that Maggiano's would be nice for a first date or a couples outing, but when it comes to a simple family outing, Olive Garden is the best option. Olive Garden is more relaxed with a child-friendly environment. In a situation where a family of 4 goes out to dinner, going to a restaurant like Olive Garden will allow parents to be comfortable with their children making noise, especially the little ones, and will allow for a more accessible family
