Topic > Analysis of two ads - 755

I will analyze two ads, indicating how effective they could be in achieving their purpose and selling the renters paradise. In my analysis I will include a list of persuasive techniques used in these advertisements. Undoubtedly, the purpose of an advertisement is to appeal strongly to readers. The purpose of the first announcement; The Grove, Apartments is about persuading audiences to experience the pleasure and joys of life. It strongly reinforces opinions through text content and captures audience interest through multiple eye-catching images. When the reader first looks at the ad, it makes them feel how entertaining and fun this place can be despite all the studying. The second ad for a senior living community shows readers a similar purpose. It contains images and texts that actually interest the reader to learn more about the place. While The Grove's advertising emphasizes amenities, aimed at young adults, Hillcrest Manor focuses on the apartment's low cost; in any case the advert will attract a particular type of tenant. My question is: how effective are these ads? Although ads are aimed at different age groups, the way the advertising industry creates ads is by specifically placing objects within the ad, each serving a purpose. It focuses its main objective on trying to create and attract consumers. The Grove attempts to relate to its target audience by appealing to the youthful and fun side in all of us. In their advertising they target the desires, beliefs and values of every young college-aged American adult and the child inside all of us, using images of games or hanging......in the middle of a sheet of paper.. They play with people's feelings by making them want to buy the product. Both have a very simple but effective layout. One of the world's great international industries is advertising. Promotes ideas and products to people who use media. Many people feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of ads that bombard them every day. Advertising now appears not only on television; they also appear on the radio, on billboards, on the Internet, on cell phones, and in numerous other ways. Advertising, in my opinion, is a competitive industry. Advertisers work hard to create and sell to their target audience. To do this, advertisers must create ideas that will interest their audience. For advertising to be successful, it must be effective. Works Cited “Hillcrest Manor.” Lubbock Apartments. December 2010: 89. Print."The Grove." Lubbock Apartments. December 2010: 85. Print.
