In my essay I will argue that the application of Marx's theory of the separation of town and country to the social and economic developments that have taken place in Jabal Nablus over the 17th-19th centuries, confirm the existence of other factors, which favored an overwhelming domination of the city over the hinterland. I argue that in addition to private property, growing trade with Europe also had an important impact on rural-urban conflict. To demonstrate this I will carry out a critical analysis of Marx's methodology. I will then examine his concepts of productive forces, unequal distribution of labor, and conflict of interests in society. Finally, I present a comparative analysis of the social and economic characteristics of Jabal Nablus in opposition to Carl Marx's claims. German Ideology begins by illustrating the critique of the German idealists, while presenting Marx and Engels' alternative: materialist vision. of history. According to Marx, the main reason for Germany's political and economic regression is its obsession with Hegel's view of history as a chain of phases or manifestations of the World Spirit or Absolute Mind. It is possible to trace Marx's criticism in three different perspectives. Initially, he directed his criticism at the very nature of the Hegelian system, affirming its "contemplative" aspect. Second, he presented a detailed analysis of the discrepancies, regarding logical categories and religious conceptions, that arose between the Young and Old Hegelians. According to the Old Hegelians, history was simply the chronology of ideas, and the reason Germany prospered was only because it was built on the best ideas. Meanwhile, the Young Hegelians adopted dialectics... middle of paper... to the furthest reaches of the hinterland, undermining the constitutive elements of peasant autonomy". p53Finally, I would like to point out that M had a narrow vision of the conquests or of military campaigns, which according to him could only "take" or completely devastate the ancient civilization by the barbarians p93 Furthermore, he stated that feudalism was initially brought by the Germans, in particular, through the application of the martial organization of the their army on the conquered productive forces, which eventually developed feudalism. However, he did not examine the influence of military campaigns within the country or empires as the Ottoman states that three military campaigns, which were carried out by the Ottoman army, mutasallim of Acre and the Egyptian governor Muhammad Ali, did nothing but increase the city's dominion over the hinterland and start a process of political centralization at various levels.
