These branches of philosophy follow the concepts of reality, which demonstrates how things really are without someone's perspective, and truth, which demonstrates something is real. Metaphysics is basically the branch of philosophy that explains the concept of reality in a deeper perspective, while epistemology explains the concept of truth more and explains how we can use knowledge to know what is true and what is not. To summarize more simply, the concept of reality basically takes the actual view of reality and not perspective, while truth is the opposite of reality which brings the concept more into perspective and less about how something actually is. The Matrix, a film by Lana and Andy Wachowski, portrays the ideas of reality and truth based on how the Matrix is a simulated reality for people, but the people in the Matrix see that the true side of this simulation is their perspective of the world real and what is the truth of the real world. The Matrix is a film that shows the main concepts of reality and truth and a fundamental aspect is Plato's theory of reality which states that reality changes depending on something. In this film this theory is implied on how Neo's reality changes based on how he escaped from the Matrix and noticed that reality and perspective changed from a normal society to an apocalyptic world. This is a mixed aspect of truth and reality due to how reality changes, based on Plato's theory, but it also changes his perspective on how he doubts something is actually true and real. In this... middle of paper... you have to choose between saving the world or saving Trinity. Because of how reality is different, he knows what to choose, what is right and what is wrong. He knows that reality changes when he travels outside the Matrix and he knows that a simple computer program cannot change the entire world they live in. This is why the Matrix has flaws, which complicate people's simulated lives. The Matrix shows the doubts about what reality and truth are or are not. The way people actually perceive reality, the truth, is very different from how other people do. The reality of something can change over time. About how choices affect the timeline of events and the future of you and other people. This movie makes philosophy more understandable and has a modern concept, showing how to doubt our reality, how different people's perspective and truth are, and how choices affect our reality.
