The Beta family I chose currently owns two vehicles for their family. The family uses a three-year-old pickup truck and a sports utility vehicle. I believe it is important for a family of this size to own two vehicles, but I don't think they made the best choices in the vehicles they purchased. This family drives a little each week, whether it's taking the kids to school or their after-school activities or just parents getting to and from work. I think they could save a lot of money if they traded in at least one of the vehicles, which is something smaller and will get better gas mileage because the family drives so much during the week.
