Topic > Adolescent Rebellion in Teens - 887

They say that all teenagers are rebellious, but my experience tells me that they are not. Everyone knows that teenagers have a tendency to go out and do things that are against the social norms of the current era. Although many teenagers do things that are not right at the time, many of them follow what is expected of them. As a teenager, I had the opportunity to do things that felt more mature than my age accepted. Even though I have had the opportunity to do these things, I have never done it. One of the main themes that runs through a teenager's life is the desire to experience new things, especially when going to college. Although the typical age for sex and tobacco use is 18 and the drinking age is 21 (in the state of West Virginia), many teenagers have experiences with these things in their adolescence. However, not all teenagers do these things. Personally I have a strong antipathy towards tobacco and drinking. My group of friends that I place myself with also like to stay clean. Even though my friend group is clean, I know some guys who fit the stereotype. Many kids nowadays think that alcohol and smoking are becoming a necessity at an early age. Although the laws impose a certain age, there are kids who manage to obtain these things through third parties or in an underhanded way. There is only a label of rebellion because some kids do things. Again, not all teenagers are like this. I have great respect for my father's orders and never try to go against his wishes. I also like to help older people who are unable to do some physical activities such as mowing the grass. Most teenagers did not have a good parental figure to teach them right from wrong and what is respectful. There are some adults who still want to live in their adolescence and take their underage teenagers to events that introduce them to things that can be classified as rebellions
