When employees feel that they are cared for and receive their expected pay, it will increase their job performance and also encourage others in the workplace. Employees still need to understand that if they are paid more they may be given more responsibility. Additionally, this can boost company morale. For example, I think I get paid a decent amount of money but I don't really care about my job because of management. Even if they paid me more I wouldn't care because I would still have the same management. A pay-for-performance plan has its pros and cons. Some professionals align employee actions with the company's interests, attract and retain talent, offer employees a stake in the company, and control costs (benefits of pay-for-performance compensation plans). Disadvantages may be that employees are trying to benefit from the company or are not fully benefited yet
