Odysseus killed all the suitors in cold blood, as shown in book twenty-two, lines 68-71 which states “until all you suitors had paid for all your crimes! / Now life or death, the choice is yours, fight or flee, / if you hope to escape your sudden and bloody fate! / I doubt if a single one of the men will escape with his life!" You could say that Odysseus doesn't want any of the suitors alive because he gives them no way out. Odysseus then goes and kills all the handmaids who had been raped by the suitors as if it was their fault. The above actions should not have had any results if Odysseus had some kindness in his
