Clarke explains how “reaching out to hold the patient's hand while greeting them allows for introductions, consent and a brief assessment of peripheral heat, while the patient's response allows for immediate airway assessment” (Clarke, 2014, p . 55-56), which is an excellent example of how assessment and treatment come together. For the other sections of ISBAR we have to imagine how the different Cs come into play, which, while a good thought exercise, is frustrating for a beginner who wants more examples. Overall though, the article was great for what it intended to do
