My mother's friends and Shannon's father believe that we are too different to be even remotely related, and I believe this to be both true and false due to the fact that we still share similar qualities as sisters, like our mother's same hazel eyes. The fact that we are at odds with each other is most evident, as I have already said, from our appearance, our background and our lifestyle. At the moment I wonder if Shannon realizes as much as I do that we are not exactly the same. Maybe, in a few years, we might not be as different as we are now, but we'll just have to see where our busy lives end up taking us.
