The world of music has changed a lot since the beginning of time and will continue to change as we as people change. In the 1960s Rock and Roll was in decline but was briefly revived by one of the most critically acclaimed bands of all time, the Beatles. It all started in 1956; John Lennon was in a local band with his friends called "The Quarrymen", named after their high school which was a small skiffle, roots rock and rock and roll band. During a performance about a year after they started (1957), John had met Paul McCartney at one of their performances and Paul had impressed them with his guitar skills, later asking Paul to join the band. In 1958 George Harrison wanted to join the quarrymen and had a good audition, but John thought George was too young at the age of fourteen, but almost a year later when he turned fifteen, Paul had arranged a meeting for George and convinced John leaving him George will join the band as lead guitarist. .Then in 1960 the band decided they needed a new name, they opted for the name "The Silver Beatles" which was later simply changed to "The Beatles". In 1962 the last Beatles to join the group was Ringo Starr, Ringo's story is not really the only reason why he joined the Beatles instead of his old band because they offered him twenty-five pounds instead of 20 pounds a week for the check from his old band. Their band had a name and the newly formed band went to Hamburg, Germany to perform at various clubs. They would go on to come to Hamburg five times over the next two years. In 1963 the Beatles signed their first contract and realized that they needed... half of paper... it was very different from their normal. In 1968 they attempted to save their image with their new album "The Beatles" also known as "The White Album". The album had the original sound and a minimalist cover. He got the idea for this album after visiting India and learning a lot about their relaxing and non-violent ways. Even though they were fixing their image, as a band they still had complications. In 1969 they attempted to release another album but it would have taken some time to come up with a track listing without constantly arguing about it; they were in ruins. They released their last album "Let It Be" the same year, but they always argued about their songs and what to do next. At the beginning of 1970 John had decided to leave the band, but in order not to compromise their image this was not made public until later that year, when Paul also decided to leave the band..
