Life course theory, in my opinion, shows a better explanation of women's criminality and the reasoning behind their crimes. Drawing on the framework of Gottfredson and Hirschi's social theory, Laub formed this theory, which speculates on the events of a person's life. Not only does life course theory examine the importance of what initiates these criminal behaviors on the part of these women, but it also explores the patterns of existence that may have caused a change. Following this theory, the life course is an interview process that interviews incarcerated women in the adolescent phase and then interviewed again in the adult phase. Peggy, Giordano, Deines, and Cernkovich's main goal regarding women who commit crimes is to get a better study on women to date. Starting from the beginning of childhood, through adolescence and into adulthood, there are two factors that influence behavioral changes in individuals. These changes are both informal and formal social controls. Peers, family, work, school, etc., are many examples of factors that contribute to and make changes to female delinquency throughout their lives..
