The positive aspects of my position on liberal arts education are experience and development. Liberal art gives you new experiences that you may or may not like. For example, you may want to become a teacher, but when you take a science or math course you may discover your love for chemistry. A liberal arts education also develops students and gives them skills and abilities they never thought they had. Liberal arts schools take students out of their comfort zone and help them develop into a well-rounded human being. One downside in my opinion is that liberal arts education is too broad and not focused. An example would be a science student who wants to speak in public and theology. The main reason people don't like a liberal arts education is because they think students should focus on their major and
