My first day started off normally. I even went to the library and ran across campus on the way home. I finally got some sleep that night, actually it was probably the best sleep I've had in fifteen nights. The second day I came back to class I saw him, but this time he didn't seem to be looking at me. So I ran away. I go back to my dorm. I didn't turn around until my door was firmly closed and locked. I sat there waiting for him. I sat there for hours and hours. The day turned to night, but I was still waiting. At this moment both hands were pointing upwards. Moments later a shadow appears under the small crack in the door. The creature just seemed to stand there and watch. I could feel his presence, and although he may have been outside the door, his eyes were inside the room. He began to shake the door handle. At first it was a slight jolt, but it soon became crazy. He started knocking on the door. My chest began to pound frantically. As I looked around the room I couldn't figure out what I would do after the monster entered. I looked out the window and immediately realized that I lived on the fourth floor and that I would die or have serious body injuries. .
