Breathing deeply, sweat spits from their lips forming a mist that hits the ground. It's the last play and the opposing team is down by three points. The intensity of the game explodes and his shoulder is against his challengers. Their bodies pressed together, any sudden shift in weight that occurred would cause them to stumble to the ground. Elgin has the ball but doesn't have a clear shot, moves to the side and throws the ball across the field towards Tyler. He moves away from his opponent and they both gasp at the sudden alteration. His opponent staggers but, having regained his balance, he studies his every gesture to intercept. Tyler begins to dribble the ball between his legs and in one quick motion steps back with his right foot and knocks the ball off his toes. The ball slides through the air almost in slow motion and everyone turns towards the basket. The ball bounces off the edge of the basket and Elgin leaps into the air and skims the ball into the basket. He gets the rebound and it's all smiles. His hand goes up and he takes a shot in the air, as if to commemorate his victory
