Vulgar language in pop music has become a serious burden on today's society and negatively influences listeners' behavior. It doesn't have a positive message and tells the listener that doing the wrong thing is okay. This contradicts what the Bible says. According to Bozell, 21st century pop music has become very dirty. This is very true. "The 100 best pop songs are about sex." (Bozell) Katy Perry's song “ET” talks about having sex with an alien. ET is a song that many young people listen to. Lady Gaga wrote a song where she said she would have sex with people until she got old and faded. When people listen to these songs, they fill their heads with thoughts that it's okay to have sex outside of marriage. The Bible tells you to warn your ears, eyes, and mind because what you take in will affect your heart. As music becomes more and more vulgar and profane, it becomes more and more difficult for people to listen to it....
