Today's society embellishes the words romance and passion, claiming that they are all good and positive. Yet almost no work of media captures the darkness of intense fervor like Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights. Its two protagonists, Heathcliff and Catherine, are one of the most romantic star-crossed lovers in literature, whose only parallel is Romeo and Juliet. Once her father brings the wild young gypsy home, Catherine forms an unbreakable bond with him. They embody the term “gothic romance” with tragedy and heartache in every chapter that threatens the relationship and sanity of the two characters. Catherine and Heathcliff's love affinity and mutual bond fuel a drama that inflicts pain and suffering on those around them, causing the world that includes Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange to collapse. The side of romance that warms many hearts and sells even more movie tickets is glamorous and fascinating. Like love stories depicted in films, the love between Cathy and Heathcliff is boundless and impregnable, proving stronger than a single thread of spider silk. Although many threaten to cut the wire, including Edgar Linton, he is invincible. No one can interfere, especially Edgar, because both Catherine and Heathcliff love each other more than anyone could ever imagine: "If he [Edgar] loved with all the power of his frail being, he could not love so much." in eighty years as I could [Heathcliff] in a day” (141). Since they were children, Catherine and Heathcliff have this strong relationship that realizes the picturesque love of two intertwined souls. Even in the worst moments, Catherine and Heathcliff's love can endure and synchronize to feel each other's happiness, sorrow and pain... in the center of the card... the connection of f, is difficult to decide whether the problems it is causing are really worth addressing. The only two people who can decide whether the ends justify the means are Catherine and Heathcliff themselves. However, is it really right for two people who obviously find more happiness in themselves and each other to care for someone else, to be the hands of fate for others? A difficulty in life is finding someone who makes us happy without making others angry. Emily Brontë clearly demonstrates in her novel that sometimes it is difficult not to exist because two people in love find each other, but they cannot be together without causing pain. Catherine and Heathcliff are one of the most romantic couples, because the tragedy is not the pain they inflict on others, it is the pain they inflict on themselves and others due to their disastrous karma..
