People often anticipate their desire to become a doctor at a young age. Perhaps this curiosity in the field of medicine is sparked by a natural talent for science or an inclination to help and impact one's community. Throughout my life, the wonders of science have always intrigued my inner curious spirit. Although I never imagined myself in a doctoral position, but after a head injury I realized that I wanted to help people the way I was helped and that the mind was my ideal focus. That said, becoming a neurology doctor is a long, arduous, and expensive process that can only be accomplished with great dedication. Among the numerous components of the human body, the brain is superior due to its vital role in maintaining adequate health. environment so that life can continue. Injuries and conditions that affect this system have the ability to cause serious and life-threatening harm, which is why doctors who specialize in this field of medicine are so indispensable to healthcare institutions. According to Healthline.com, a neurologist is a doctor who has undergone additional training to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system. The nervous system includes the brain and nerves that send signals to allow the body to function properly. However, many neurologists specialize in more specific conditions such as epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease. They can also treat injuries such as concussions or strokes. Additionally, a neurologist can serve as a referral to other doctors by informing them about the effects of certain medical conditions such as AIDS or substances such as drugs and alcohol on the nervous system.
