At the beginning of chapter 12 he writes: “Present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice”, and “Do not be conformed to this world”. Most of the errors and trials that Paul faced in his “Epistles” were due to the fact that believers had conformed their lives to the world and not to God. The Lord wants us to see His glory. He created an incredibly beautiful and marvelously expanding universe to proclaim His glory and omnipotence. He gave us Jesus Christ to reveal Himself to us. He doesn't retreat, he doesn't cover himself, he doesn't hide. He is bringing a revelation of His glory throughout His creation and will be seen throughout the earth. This is the beauty of the gospel message. The Scriptures declare that the earth is filled with the glory of God. "The whole earth is filled with His glory."
