Sometimes achieving goals can be difficult for me when other things get in my way and I focus on that more than what I'm trying to achieve. I haven't achieved any of my goals, from eating healthier to learning to play the guitar. When trying to achieve the goal of eating healthier, McDonald's seemed much better than healthy food. Also, trying to play guitar was great until I gave up because I couldn't see any progress. I know I could have achieved these goals if I had tried harder to achieve them. Setting a SMART goal is specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. This setup will help me achieve the goals I set out to accomplish. The specific setting will determine what exactly I want to happen. Measurable will give me time to set my goal. Attainable gives me the opportunity to determine if the goal is realistic and if I can actually achieve it. Relevant will help me determine if this goal means anything to me. Setting the time limit provides an end point and provides the information to strive towards it
