No matter how many opinions on racism are protected, one can agree that racism is indeed an unreasonable problem that needs to be solved. There are various reasons why the church should not condone racism, one of which is that the Bible states in Hebrews 10:25, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some; but exhorting one another: and all the more, as you see the day approaching.” This scripture reiterates the importance of God's children gathering with one another before the Lord's return. This scripture applies to all denominations, races, and origins. This also justifies the importance of not letting race become a factor in the desire to join one's brothers in praising one's God. Furthermore, the inaccuracy of one's judgments explains the reasons why racism should not be tolerated in the Church. Normally, when making your own judgments, whether about the “black church” or the “white church,” you may construct your personal opinion based on an illustration given to them through television, social media, or experience. All opinions about the church are not false, yet people fail to understand the role denominations play in the world of the church. A denomination is a religious group that has its own diverse identity. Examples of different denominations may include: Baptist, Evangelical, Methodist, AME, Lutheran, Catholic, and more. Each denomination has the freedom to respect its own traditions. People must learn that their judgments may not all be accurate according to each denomination's practices. Additionally, people need to realize that they are given a preference in where they choose to practice their religious beliefs.
