Cultural Intelligence Assessment will allow the individual to have certain information about themselves. Cultural difference is hypothesized to have a greater impact on business effectiveness than we think. That our cultural background really influences how we think, act, and how we interpret the contributions of others. Our success or failure in communication will depend on the extent to which we understand the different cultural backgrounds of employees and create fruitful collaboration in situations where cultural differences play a role. To achieve this, we must act appropriately in multicultural situations along with the ability to have an open mind that admits new information and that is curious about difference. We must know who we are and be curious about the “other” so that differences can be worked through rather than attenuated. Cultural intelligence cannot do without size. It consists of understanding oneself as a cultural being and understanding people with a different cultural background. We may take our culture for granted as the natural and right way to behave or think and, as a result, fail to discover the existence of cultural differences. . It is only when we are confronted with something different that we are able to see culture in action. Sometimes cultural differences are exaggerated and are used as a way to avoid certain types of conflicts. We often hear the phrase “It's a cultural issue” when in reality it could be something about power or lack of clarity about the role. This is a way to not take responsibility, an easy way out. Talking about culture is difficult if we are not ready to look at different cultural backgrounds while cultural intelligence provides us with a framework to understand different aspects of culture.
