Education is necessary for all. Education is very important, without education no one can lead a good life. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an Original Essay Education is of two types i.e. natural and nutritional. In education, the education imparted to a child requires adequate premises for learning, curriculum, implementation of that curriculum in the school, teachers, teacher methodology and use of teaching aids, for example, audio-visual aids that make the process of learning easy. teaching-learning. Teaching and learning are the important elements of education. The teacher uses different methods and materials to teach their students to make learning effective. With the passage of time, different methods and techniques have been introduced in the field of education. Teachers use different media to make their teaching effective. Teaching aids arouse students' interest and help teachers explain concepts easily. Undoubtedly, audiovisual aids are those teaching aids that are used in the classroom to encourage the learning process of teaching.[1]As Singh (2005) defines: “Any device that through sight and sound increases the experience of individual, in addition to that acquired through reading described as an audiovisual aid"[2]Audiovisual aids are those teaching devices that are used in the classroom to encourage learning and make it easier and more interesting. The material such as graphs, maps, models, films, radio projectors, television etc., called teaching aids. (Piuttosto, 2004)[3]. Audiovisual aids are effective tools that "give the past an air of reality." Audiovisual aids provide students with a realistic experience that captures their attention and aids in understanding historical phenomena. They appeal to the mind through the visual, auditory senses. (Jain, 2004)[4]. There is a famous Chinese proverb "one vision is worth a hundred words", it is a fact that we receive knowledge through our senses. There is another proverb that "if we hear we forget, if we see we remember, and if we do something we know it", so it means that the use of audiovisual aids makes the teaching-learning process more effective. As Kishore (2003) stated, “AV aids stimulated thinking and understanding.” [5]The use of AV aids in the teaching learning process has multiple values (Mohanty, 2001) [6].AV aids give the opportunity to presenters to make a more professional and coherent presentation. The teaching profession is filled with countless opportunities to enrich students' academic lives, while some concepts and educational objectives will be easy for students to understand, others will require thinking creatively to ensure important learning objectives are achieved. The use of AV aids in teaching is a way to improve lesson plans and provide students with additional ways to process information about the subject (Kunari,2006) [7]. AV aids are devices that present units of knowledge through either auditory or visual stimuli with the goal of aiding learning. They concretize the knowledge to be presented and help make the learning experience real, alive and vital. They complement the teacher's work and help in studying textbooks. The great pedagogist Comenius said well: The foundation of all learning consists in clearly representing sensitive objects to the senses so that they can be easily appreciated (Singh, 2005) [8]. Visual aids are important ineducation system. Visual aids are those devices that are used in classrooms to encourage students' learning process and make it easier and more interesting. Visual aids represent the best tool for making teaching effective and the best dissemination of knowledge. Research by Cuban (2001) indicated the psychology of visual aids as follows, 1% of what is learned comes from the sense of TASTE, 1.5% of what is learned comes from the sense of TOUCH, the 3.5% of what is learned comes from the sense of TOUCH, logic of SMELL, 11% of what is educated comes from the logic of HEARING and 83% of what is learned is from the sense of VIEW. [9]. Furthermore, people generally remember 10% of what they READ, 20% of what they HEAR, 30% of what they SEE, 50% of what they HEAR and SEE, 70% of what they SAY and 90% of what they SAY while DOING something. So there is no doubt that technical devices have a greater impact and dynamic information system. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM The researcher wants to explore the “Impacts of audio-visual aids on students' performance in senior and senior secondary schools of Nowshera district”. [10] study aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of audiovisual aids in the teaching learning process at university level. To achieve the purpose of the study, two questionnaires were designed as a research instrument separately for teachers and students. The questionnaire was administered to 150 students and 50 teachers of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur; (Faculty of Letters and Faculty of Science) The average score was calculated to determine the empirical reaction of students and teachers on each item. The data was analyzed using standard deviation and Z test. Results for each statement were made. Based on the findings, the conclusion was drawn.Nelson.QR, Buabeng.I, osafo.kd, [11] This study aimed to find out the impact of audio-visual teaching on students' achievement in physics in Cape Coast town Coastal metropolis, Ghana. The study was a nonrandomized pre-test and post-test group design. A total of 65 Senior High School (SHS) students constituted the sample for the study. The students were fourth-year science students from two specially selected co-educational SHSs. The two selected schools were randomly designated as the experimental group and control group, respectively. A validated physical performance test instrument with a reliability coefficient of 0.76 was administered. Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and t-test statistics were used to test the two hypotheses formulated to guide the study at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that SHS students educated with the aid of audiovisuals performed better than those educated with the traditional method. The average achievement scores of both male and female students improved significantly through the use of audiovisual instruction. It was therefore recommended that SHS physics teachers explore the use of audio-visual instruction to teach the subject, physics.Shabiralyani.G.,Hassan.sk, hammad. N., iqbal. N. [12] explored teacher's views on the use of visual aids (e.g., images, animation videos, projectors and films) as a motivational tool to increase students' attention in reading literary texts. To achieve the purpose of the research, closed-ended questionnaire was used to collect the required data. The target population of this research was the staff and students of public and private educational institutions of Dera Ghazi Khan district. In this research primary data was used to gather information. The collected data is analyzed using SPSS software and also the data has been represented in percentage distribution of pie, line and bar charts.
