The memory coherence feature with copied data is the core of a DSM system because the DSM software should control replication to provide a single shared memory image. Traditional DSMs have adequately addressed these for multiprocess systems. Most DSM and hardware cache coherence systems use single-writer protocols. These protocols allow multiple readers to access a particular page at the same time. However, only one writer will have exclusive access to a page that serves as a crucial editing section. Results and literature review For thread operations: The main goal of DSM is to manage communications between different distributed processes that are on multiple computers.
