The purpose of their choice is on the basis that since my research is basically to examine the effect of online media on individual confidence of fear of missing out, I believe that students are best suited for this. I need to focus on the impact of social media on an individual when he is very interested in web-based media and feels isolated. Virtually all students are professional customers of social media and, even more critically, almost all of them feel the fear of missing out. As a result, I had to analyze the impact of social media usage on the individual and the feeling of being fired, whether it strengthens or weakens the individual by entering web-based media. By using these participants, the result obtained will be generalizable to people in general. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an Original Essay Sampling Technique and Size The sample for my study will be chosen using a simple random sampling method. Using this technique, each population unit will have an equal chance of being incorporated into the example. This inspection strategy can reduce sampling error and also there is no open door to human bias. Participants would not be chosen based on abstract patterns, for example, they are friendly or receptive. The sample size for my study will be 30 students which will include 15 males and 15 females respectively. From all the college students, I will relegate arbitrary numbers to everyone and then select 30 (n = total sample from N = total population) using computers that produce irregular numbers. Materials and procedures. the type of research will be explanatory in nature. The exploration primarily intends to consider the causal connection between social media use and FOMO. The current literature review suggests that there is a huge effect of social media on FOMO. However, there are only limited articles focused on this topic and for countries like Bhutan there are no articles written to see the effect. In this way, I need to contemplate the negative effects and their response to overcome the fear of missing out. The study will use a quantitative methodology as it incorporates the use of insights, purpose propositions, and dynamic support. Data Collection The study will be quantitative in nature and will use a cross-sectional research design. The methodology for this study is quantitative in light of the fact that it involves researching the causal connection between two variables and also intends to test the hypothesis that social media has a negative effect on FOMO. Organized survey questionnaires will be used to collect data from respondents which depend on simple random sampling. The questionnaires will use the Likert scale ranging from 1 (never) to 4 (constantly) to quantify the power of the respondents towards the survey. Each interviewee will be contacted to demonstrate their level of agreement with the survey. Data Analysis The information collected will be analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). The collected data will be exchanged with SPSS for definitive analysis. It is software used for examining quantitative information. To test the hypothesis, the Chi Square test will be performed. The Chi-square measurement is usually used to test connections between all variables. Keep in mind:;.
