Jurassic Park is a decent book compared to the movie. Although many today will not read the book because of the famous movie, there are many things that are different. The basic plot is similar to that of the film, but more importantly it starts differently. For example, it begins at an archaeological site in Costa Rica after unknown species of lizards attack children there. Even though the book and the film are similar, it is still important that fans of the story have also read the original book. Say no to plagiarism. Get an Original Essay The story begins with a scene where a person, who has been bitten by something, needs a doctor's attention. Before dying, the patient is asked what he did and he replies that it was a bird of prey. After looking up a bit what raptor means, he finds a meaning in English, which says raptor: bird of prey. The book is about a family who goes to a deserted beach where Tina, the youngest girl, is bitten by a lizard on her hind legs, which then causes Dr. Gutierrez to investigate the scene who then finds a matching lizard carcass to Tina's description. . He then takes the carcass and sends it to the laboratory to see what spice it is and is identified as a dinosaur. The remains are sent to Dr. Grant, a paleontologist who is shocked and then airlifted before he can do further investigation on Isla Nublar. The island is owned by John Hammond, who uses it to turn the island into Jurassic Park, a park full of dinosaurs. Due to a concern for the island's safety, Donald Gennaro took Ian Malcolm, Grant, and Sattler to visit the island to ensure it was safe. Malcolm uses his chaos theory to support his answer that the park is doomed. The park's computer technician Denis Nerdy is hired by the rival company to steal fifteen dinosaur embryos, which would soon seal the fate of Jurassic Park thereafter. Malcolm, Grant and Hammond's and the lawyer's nephews went in the automatic vehicle around the exhibits to visit the park. Since the park is mostly automated and the fences are electric, when Nerdy cuts off the power to the park to steal the embryos, he shuts down the entire park. He then proceeds to the docks to leave, but is then killed by a dilofosuar when it crashes. Due to the closure, the cars stop in front of the rex exhibit where he will soon burst out and eat Regis, injuring Malcolm, while also scouring Grant and the children in the park. Robert Muldoon, the park keeper, went looking for them only to retrieve the injured Malcolm and recover him. Shortly after Arnold, the park engineer, has put the computer system back into operation, while Malcolm continues to talk about chaos theory. Grant and the children also return to the visitor center to find a nest with eggs although the dinosaurs were all "female". The power then went out again, this time freeing the birds of prey. The raptors then kill Arnold Wu and one of the raptors is locked in a freezer. Since there is no one left to work with the computers, Tim manages to get the fences back up and running before the birds of prey can penetrate the lodge's skylight. Tim then calls for the cargo ship to turn back due to the birds of prey that have jumped aboard. Hammond is killed by a small group of dinosaurs. Then the Costa Rican National Guard arrives to take everyone and blow up the island. Jurassic Park is a great book, although it breaks my heart at how different it was from the movies. I can't believe they killed off good characters like Hammond or Malcolm. I didn't like the fact that they blew it up.
