Topic > Breaking down the ways different people use technology

What kind of cell phone do you have? Does it have Internet, picture messaging, games and a touch screen? Many people ask their friends questions like these all the time. They shoot out text messages as fast as bubble gum and forward tons of jokes. Nowadays people send messages like lol just to tell you they're laughing. Technology is an ever-evolving wave into the future. People have so many electronic devices for so many things. The technology is great for medicine that helps save people's lives. In the past, people would go to the store and take their groceries home. Now let's get in the car and go get them. The time and effort needed to do these things would not compare to the time it took to get them done in the past. Many people like to play video games at home, but in the past, people spent time outside playing games. From generation to generation, children and adults enjoy different things in life thanks to technology. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an Original Essay The technology I have noticed is in my daily use. People use technology to get to work, to find out about an investment and to maintain contact with their family. Some people are able to use technology because it is convenient for them and is a benefit to them. The people you will hear about in this report are different in various ways. Some families rely on technology, others don't. In this report I will address both aspects of the technology and also each individual's stage of development. You will be able to see how technology affects these certain individuals at their age and discuss their parents' backgrounds. Technology is interesting and fun, and who doesn't love enjoying a good show on TV? Not all people are as interested in TV as I am, that's why I'll cover some interesting points about the technology. From country to country the technology is different and so is the culture. There are good things and bad things in the past and perhaps in the future. Technology has affected all three of these individuals and I feel it will affect them in the future. The three people are Elaina, Michelle and Steven. The order is from adolescence, early adulthood, and middle adulthood. I asked my sister Elaina "how do you communicate with your friends?" He told me he texts his friends on his phone, calls them, tweets, MySpace, IM, Facebook and moco space. The whole time he was talking to me he was playing with his phone and iPod. She said she doesn't walk to her friend's house and usually picks up a ride from her friends. She and her sister Peaches texted their friends while we talked and laughed. The next question I asked Elaina was “how has technology changed medicine?” He talked about the things in the hospital that check the pulse and ventilate the things on the arm. I think he felt that these were advances in medicine versus having to do it manually in the past. He talked about prosthetic legs and prosthetic arms and how they help people with disabilities. I talk to her about technology and ask her how it has changed her daily activities. He said it “drastically changed his daily activities.” He felt like he was growing up in a middle-income family with little crime in the neighborhood. I asked Elaina “what did you use in the past, but no longer use technology-wise?” It took her a minute to think of a CD player, but in the end that was all she could think of. When he talks about the past and the future he feels that technology was good in the past, but in the future he sees it as a bad thing. He believesthat technology is a good and bad thing and gave a couple of reasons. He said it "helps people with blindness, who are overweight and people with an addiction." Some other good reasons are that information is easier to get especially online and you can listen to portable music. He was able to see some interesting changes in our society and how much they affected his days in his life. I believe this will continue as technology continues to change year after year. Every person's culture is different and this has to do with their daily use of technology. My wife has experienced similar things in her life as my sister. Elaina sees technology one way right now and may later see it another way. I know that sometimes she laughs and plays like a child and sometimes she is also immature. His development changes from moment to moment as he tries to find his role in life. In Erikson's theory it has reached the stage of identity versus role confusion. My wife Michelle uses many similar tools to communicate as my sister. Use SMS and email online and on the phone. He feels that technology has great medicinal power. Now you can see a 4-D image of the baby inside the mother during pregnancy, he mentioned. Is able to make calls and use the computer at home to complete tasks or obtain information for homework during daily activities. This helps to successfully complete its tasks faster. A throwback moment for her is when I ask her what she used in the past and doesn't use anymore?" She spoke on her pager which was pink and it was very little. She felt that her parents grew up below the average income , but this according to her did not contribute to their stress level. She feels that personal relationships were stronger in the past than they are now because texting has replaced some physical communications. She believes that technology will be used for the wrong purposes technology is something that she sees as a great and terrible thing depending on the situation. Michelle might use technology now, but will she use it in the future? I don't know if she will or what she will do, but I think technology will change in the future wife had a MySpace account and used to comment on her friends. She was looking for company in the past and has many friends. Now she doesn't have a MySpace account and feels isolated. In the Erikson phase she has crossed both sides of the spectrum. He felt the side of intimacy and the side of isolation. He prefers the intimacy side more. Day by day we experience new things in our life and develop at different times. My father has seen many things in his life that have changed over time. He told me some interesting opinions about technology and felt strongly interested in these topics. My father lives in Washington State and his name is Steven. My father uses his cell phone, computer, camera and the Internet. He enjoys all this throughout the year. Personally I know he likes to ride his motorcycle. All of this has to do with technology and he loves to enjoy it. When I ask him about medicine and technology. He had no opinion on the matter. One thing he pointed out is that technology causes stress especially at work when ordering parts, but technology is great for online banking. These daily tasks make life more difficult, but make it easier for others with technology. When he asked my father what his economic and social status was, he felt that he was fine. I ask him “if his economic condition has influenced his social condition?” He said "yes". When I asked the same question referring to my grandparents, he thought the same thing. Some of the things my father used in the past.
