Over the years, marriage has drifted away from its original meaning, which is described as "the formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, with the which become husband and wife", from the Oxford Dictionary. Today marriage can be formed between people of the opposite sex, people of the same sex, one man and several women and many others. Many people do not agree with forms of marriage other than heterosexual marriage. This is because they go against religious beliefs and alter the true meaning of marriage. People who claim to be “Christians” who are, or advocate, homosexuality, are directly against God. Marriage is supposed to be a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, so anything other than heterosexual marriage is of course, morally and religiously wrong. Reproduction is a part of life and it was God's intention for living things to reproduce. Natural reproduction cannot occur in a homosexual relationship.
