Topic > Animal Abuse is Causing Harm - 1697

Animal AbuseAnimal abuse is causing harm to all different types of species, from using them for experiments, to intentional abuse and hoarding. The labs claim they do not harm most animals, but it is clear that they are being harmed by past trials. Intentional abuse not only affects the animal, but also the person committing the crime. Hoarding is also abuse due to the conditions the animals are in. Hoarders are people where they own many animals, which they cannot take care of. These include puppy mills, who hoard female dogs with puppies and sell the puppies for money. Dogs in puppy mills receive no attention, lack food and water, and are crammed into small spaces with many puppies to care for. There is no justification for animal cruelty and abuse. These criminal actions should be punishable by law because these actions often lead to crimes against human beings. There are also some actions against animals that are considered animal cruelty to some people, but aren't because they are necessary. Today we all know that before most products are introduced to humans, the products are first tested on animals. Some people believe this is animal abuse and is causing harm to animals. I have been researching to find answers and a better understanding of the animals that help in our research. The species that are usually used in laboratories are rats and mice due to their low cost and short lifespan. There are rat and mouse breeders who breed these species for testing purposes only, giving them certain characteristics that they can be tested on. Another animal used for testing are rabbits, due to the same characteristics as rats and mice. Scientists sometimes use monkeys and monkeys to test important pr... middle of paper... to find out all those things they put bulls through shows to be judged based on their body type and traits. I show the county that I believe animals love this kind of attention. They loved to be cleaned, trimmed and fed a little more. Animals that are shown are obviously better cared for than animals that are not for display purposes. These are three of the many things that are not even remotely close to animal abuse. After doing this research I demonstrated how any type of abuse is cruel and unfair to animals. Every animal should be treated much better than the examples I have shown. But animals needing things done to them that are considered abuse should not be considered a crime. Experimentation, intentional abuse and hoarding must be more persistently prevented because of how they lead people to commit crimes against humans.
