A pregnant woman waits patiently in an office for the doctors to call her. When she is summoned she feels very nervous and tense. The doctors tell her to rest her legs on the bed while they take out the surgical devices. Several minutes later, she finds herself undergoing miscarriage surgery and sees her newborn being pulled out of her. Unfortunately he is dead, lifeless and decapitated. He is later thrown into an incinerator and his mother casually goes home. This situation happens every day and is seen as a common action like taking a walk. This event should be condemned for the countless lives it took. Abortion causes remorse because it is morally wrong, has negative effects, and promotes racism. There are many reasons why abortion is morally wrong. For example, in the Bible, Exodus 20:13 specifically states that “you shall not kill” (Bible 104). Influencing the idea on this topic, anyone can conclude that murder is part of abortion. When abortion is performed, the life of an innocent person is taken away. Another reason abortion is immoral is because even doctors recognize that what they are doing is cause for regret. “Nerville Sender, MD, who runs an abortion clinic, [also stated] 'we know it's killing, but states allow killing under certain circumstances.'” (Williams 38). An abortion specialist who claims to willingly know that this is a murder proves that something is wrong with this picture. The reason abortion was approved was because of the Roe v. Wade court case. It has “effectively legalized abortion during pregnancy for virtually any reason, or no reason at all. It is responsible for the pain of millions of men and women and for the killing of millions of unborn children. that shouldn't be born. “Prenatal testing has become so sophisticated that doctors can now identify many disabilities before birth. But because for most there is no cure, the only way to “prevent” disability is to prevent the birth of the child” (Williams 149). There is no good reason to kill a child just because he has a physical or mental defect. Children should not be guilty of being created that way and should not suffer just because they will encounter adversity as they grow up. It is for these reasons that abortion promotes racism. Abortion is a horrible action because it is morally wrong, has negative effects, and promotes racism. It is not necessary to see that abortion is a necessary evil. It should be completely banned so that the lives of future generations can thrive.
