The increase in terrorism due to the tragedy of September 11, 2001 has posed a simple key question from people all over the world with different backgrounds; What would drive the people who masterminded and participated in the attacks to sacrifice their precious lives in creating mass destruction in a foreign land? In summary, terrorism is seen as the threat conceived to influence the characters and behaviors of a group or to achieve completely impervious objectives (Rapoport and Alexander, eds. 1982).
