Of course, my friends and family are my support system and will encourage me to keep these boundaries in place. “Make non-negotiable time to enjoy each other's company and commit to not letting your work get in the way.” (University Resources, 2013). I will have to resist taking on more projects or responsibilities for the sake of being nice. I'll have to be a little selfish so I can achieve my goals. So actually the new concept is applying my old concept. My fears I fear feeling guilty when I have to turn down an offer to have fun with friends and family. I fear I feel guilty about the opportunity to serve in a new capacity in the church. Even though I know they will understand and support me. I worry that I might disappoint someone or make them feel unimportant. This is an area where I will have to pray for the strength to say “no” without guilt. ConclusionThis new chapter in my life, becoming a graduate of MNU's graduate program is a welcome challenge. Time and money well spent to achieve my academic goals, so I can achieve my professional and personal goals. I know I will have to make some sacrifices to be successful, but in this process I hope to inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and adopt habits that serve their needs.
