Advancement in Technology1.1 IntroductionHumanity or humankind evolved from the essence that separates humans from beasts: the ability to use the mind for reason. Reason is the ability to analyse, create, deduce and formulate. It is reason that allows human beings to strive to invent; It is through invention that humanity has developed society and created a better world. We could say that technology is the sum total of culturally transmittable and instrumentally useful information. Technology, a word of Greek origin, is defined as "the practical application of knowledge especially in a particular area." Technology is a word used to collectively describe or represent advancements, abilities, creations, feats, views, and knowledge. So the speed of the improvement is enormous and unpredictable. Technological advancements have shown substantial growth in every field, be it communication systems, astronomy, semiconductor devices, automobiles and everyday electronic devices, bioelectronic devices, building and architectural design techniques, or computers. Systems that further extended to mobile communications and GPS, the semiconductor devices that dramatically reduced the footprint of Aboriginal (primitive) vacuum tubes and could fit hundreds of gigabytes in their pockets. , the fast and "intelligent" supercomputers. The progress is also accompanied by the reduction of time, effort and cost for the production of any material, from microchips to the latest generation cars or sophisticated devices to megastructures combined with the ease of design and development. Needless to add, these advancements also invigorate economic development as the effective use of technology reduces the cost of producing materials and overheads which generate savings in the economy and thus lead to national success. create a network that was independent and did not require the services of a central computer to control the operations of that network. Furthermore, the network had to be able to continue to function even if some parts of it were destroyed. Originally the application of this network would have been to quickly and securely transfer information to all parts of the network in the event of a nuclear war breaking out. It wasn't long before other uses for this network became apparent, and in the early 1970s, email took its first shaky steps. Soon companies started using the technology too and within years they started building their own internal networks. With such information available online it wasn't long before the emergence of the World Wide Web occurred. Two factors played a key role in this development. Hypertext and graphical interfaces soon began to circulate and, as such, information became increasingly accessible and began to resemble what we know today as the World Wide Web.
