According to this case study, researchers examine how they use ecotourism in Kaikoura to achieve sustainability. Kaikoura is located on the east coast of New Zealand and is a small coastal town. During this period their population amounted to 3500 inhabitants and grew rapidly in the tourism sector thanks to the abundance of marine resources available in that area.
