Dust: Questions1 The original source of Jeremy's rejection came from his parents who banished him from home. He had to live in the basement, away from society. This pain he received made him a more compassionate, caring and loving person. Although his early life was characterized by persecution and sadness, he accepted it as a way of life. Being banished from society, he learned exclusively the meaning of compassion. He gained the knowledge of caring and loving by experiencing the exact opposite of treatment. When he received this treatment, he hated it and wanted something different.2. Three personality traits of Jeremy or Powder were his extreme compassion, his shyness and his caring. Jeremy expressed compassion in the fullest form possible. He expressed feelings for others who have taken extreme measures. Like the transition of death from the dying deer to the sheriff who shot it for sport. Given that he was an albino genius, it would be easy to understand his difficulty in adapting and acquiring new friends to socialize with. So he became a shy boy who almost kept to himself. Characteristic of Jeremy that distinguished him from the rest of the society in which he lived. Even though he was persecuted, beaten and ridiculed. He understood his characteristics and understood why boys hated him. It was fear!3. I respect Jeremy's attentiveness. Like Christ himself, he would not fight or use any kind of violence to solve problems. Jeremy would speak his words of wisdom or use his divine powers of mental stability and strength to make a point. He would prove a point without hurting anyone. This characteristic made us create a field of empathy for the boy.4. Jeremy showed his love, compassion and care for other people and creatures in some instances in the film. The most popular scene expressed care for a creature. A creature, in the shape of a defenseless deer. A sheriff was with a group of boys, hunting when they weren't supposed to. The sheriff found and killed the deer. As the deer lay there taking its last breaths of life, Jeremy sprang into action. To express the anguish of death to the sheriff, he clung to the deer's neck and the sheriff's arm. Using his mental power forces he fed feelings of death to the sheriff. While Jeremy loved the animal inhabitants, he also expressed compassion and care for the human population. Jeremy was being ridiculed once again during the storm. A boy named Johnny pushed Jeremy into the mud, making Johnny laugh
