Topic > A college education is not worth your time and money

Many college graduates have trouble finding work. The bigger problem is the amount of debt Americans are facing because of the college degree they were told they should have. Universities have raised prices on everything from tuition to books. The government gives loans to students without even asking where they will go to school or whether they will have a plan to repay the debt in the future. The mentality is that companies and businesses won't hire someone unless they have a college degree. Gerald Celente of the Trends Research Institute says, "It makes no difference to have a college degree." (College Conspiracy Scam - youtube) He wants people to have a mind and think for themselves. Many believe that with a college degree they can have any car and house they want and commonly known as the American dream. High schools prepare their students to go to college. They do not expose students to any paths other than obtaining a higher education. There are no longer high schools that teach their students how to start their own business or invent their own product. They don't educate their students on how to use the Internet to become more educated about things without going to college. In the 1970s, a college student could afford college tuition without student loans or receiving financial assistance from parents. They were able to pay by doing a year-round part-time job or a summer job during their free time. The government destroyed this by providing easy student loans to anyone who asked for them. There were no credit requirements to get the loans. According to a documentary titled “Conspiracy Scam” on YouTube, tuition for a four-year college costs $29,293. It also states that the price has gone...middle of the paper...quickly discovering that maybe college isn't the right path. The American Dream isn't so dreamy. Student loan debt isn't worth it when you could be better off without a college degree. The loans are destroying Americans' hopes and ruining their lives. The government needs to get out of this situation and let the banks take over and compete with each other. It's the only way to lower tuition and the cost of everything. The degree is even losing its face value and hyperinflation is around the corner. It's time to wake up. College could be a good thing. Our government is too greedy to see the situation the way it needs to be handled and it is time for anyone seeking a college degree to look at college degrees to determine if they are really worth spending time and money on and stop being indentured slaves who they pay with worthless securities and a lifetime of paying off student loans.
