In chapter eighteen of The Hobbit, Thorin says, "If more of us valued food, merriment, and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world." The menus will display this quote. Many fictional foods are mentioned in Tolkien's writings, and our cooks would take these ideas and bring these foods to life. An example is the bread called Lembas. Lembas is a special bread made by elves, shaped like a thin and very nutritious cake. Lembas is mentioned in The Silmarillion and The Lord of the Rings. Many restaurants bring bread to every single table, so Middle Earth would take that tradition and call it bread
